The Prague Zoo last month reintroduced four Przewalski's horses into the Gobi Desert, bringing the number from Prague's latest efforts up to 27.
The estimate is that there are now around 190 of these horses running feral around Takhin Tal National Park, Great Gobi B Strictly Protected Area, southwest Mongolia. They were extinct as a wild species by 1960 due to hunters and expanded farming.
